Karen Mayo is a fine-art photographer whose work extends the experience of the digital image. Across bodies of work including Changing Spaces, The Spaces In Between and Evolution, she investigates the abstraction of the human form and the shifting relationship between image, perception and experience.

Her large-scale photographic works and moving-image installations create visual encounters that unfold through observation, reflection and presence in the moment — asking what is revealed, and what remains hidden, in moments of transition.
